Citrix weeklong VAR partner ‘Summit’ at CCIB in Poble Nou …
Citrix launched a weeklong partners “Summit” at the Barcelona International Convention Center in Poble Nou today, an intensive immersion for its VAR partners in the latest and greatest of Citrix enterprise solutions.
As resellers of software solutions (VARs = value-added resellers), the Citrix VAR partners are on the front lines of sales efforts targeting companies with potential interest in Citrix enterprise solutions to help them increase customer acquisition, accelerate sales, turn more profit and extend their business into new markets — which is exactly what Citrix is trying to do for its VAR partners through this week’s Summit exercise.
In Citrix speak taken from the Summit website, the event “provides the information and resources required to move from selling point products to offering strategic solutions for customer challenges such as worker mobility, enterprise scalability and desktop management.”
Citrix launched the weeklong VAR partner marathon with the unveiling of its latest Channel Index survey, showing that Citrix channel partners in Europe experienced double-digit growth over the past year in two key technology areas: sales of mobile working (or ‘workshifting’) software, as well as enterprise cloud platforms and server virtualisation solutions.
