WIPJam ‘Day for Developers’ and WIP Party return to Mobile World Congress 2013 …
WIP (aka the Wireless Industry Partnership) has just announced they will be back again during Mobile World Congress 2013 with their “WIPJam – Day for Developers”. As per WIP’s announcement in their e-newsletter today, this year’s event promises to “be a great day of Developer Storytelling, Discussion Groups, UnPanels, Hackathons, Expert Tables, Technical Works, Prizes, Giveaways and much, much more!”
AND, if you’re a developer yourself, here’s the news you’ve been waiting for … “Yes,” there will again be a limited number of free MWC exhibition passes for developers who qualify. Last year, more than 1,100 people attended WIPJam @ MWC, so you would do well to follow WIP’s advice and stay tuned to the WIP website and follow WIP on Twitter at @wipjam and on Facebook for updates.
NOW, if you’re also an MWC party animal, here’s the news that you’ve been waiting for … “Yes,” WIP will be back at MWC for a 5th annual WIP developer party the night before WIPJam! (Last year’s WIP party in the Arenas building at Plaza Espanya provided a spectacular rooftop view of the police-protester clashes on Gran Vía at the entrance to the old Fira. Obviously, with the MWC show moved down the road to Fira Gran Vía this year, the spectacle will be missing as a feature of the WIP party!)
If your organization is flush with cash and wants to sponsor either event, they are great ways to get yourselves in front of oodles of mobile developers from around the world. More information on WIPJam and WIP Party sponsorships are available by contacting Caroline.
